Part of the nationwide #EUBeachCleanup week around International Coastal Cleanup Day, the third Saturday of September. Ericeira's cleanup has for years centred on Praia da Foz do Lizandro, run with Surfrider Foundation Ericeira, the Mafra municipality and the Oceano Azul Foundation.
