Part of the nationwide #EUBeachCleanup week around International Coastal Cleanup Day, the third Saturday of September. In Peniche the cleanup is usually run by Ocean Patrol, often with the municipality, along Praia da Gamboa and the Marina. Bags and gloves are provided; anyone can join for an hour or two.
