Aldeia da Praia sits on Avenida do Atlantico in Colares, steps from Praia das Maçãs, one of the more sheltered beach breaks on the Sintra coast and a reasonable spot to learn. Rooms run from four- to eight-bed dorms to doubles and en-suite family tents, and the kitchen turns out vegan breakfast options alongside the standard menu.
Surf lessons run two hours with board, wetsuit and insurance included, and yoga classes (Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, meditation) run for 75 minutes alongside the surf programme.
