Ericeira Waves
A surf school that teaches only at Ribeira d'Ilhas, the long, forgiving right at the heart of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve, with Portuguese Surf Federation instructors.
Ericeira Waves has run since 2014 out of Santo Isidoro, and teaches every lesson at Ribeira d'Ilhas, the reserve's most user-friendly wave and the one that works for a first-timer and a pro on the same morning. Instructors are certified by the Federacao Portuguesa de Surf and hold water-safety qualifications, with lessons in several languages.
