Eduardo Garcia shapes a full range out of Praia das Macas, from performance shortboards and mid-lengths to guns and tow boards tested at Nazare. Custom only, more than twenty years in.
Edu Shapes is Eduardo Garcia's label, based at Praia das Macas on the Sintra coast. Garcia came up through factory work alongside international shapers before setting up on his own, and now shapes across the whole spectrum: performance shortboards, hybrids, mid-lengths, twins, fun shapes, longboards and big-wave guns.
He tests his own boards everywhere from small summer beach breaks to Nazare, and the range reflects it. Custom orders through the website; showroom by arrangement, weekends included.
