Santa Cruz Ocean Spirit

Santa Cruz's international wave-sports festival, on the beach and in the town for ten days each July. The sport is bodyboard and bodysurf: the Santa Cruz Bodyboard Open is a stage of the national championship, and the Santa Cruz Bodysurf Pro is a newer addition. Around it runs a full concert programme and beach activities, all free to watch. Run by the Torres Vedras municipality; 2026 was the 18th edition.
