Arrifana Surf Lodge
A small surf lodge run by Aldo and Sarah in Vale da Telha, five minutes from Arrifana beach, with private and shared rooms, a plunge pool and yoga terrace, and all-inclusive surf and yoga or jiu-jitsu packages.
Arrifana Surf Lodge is run by Aldo and Sarah out of Vale da Telha, a village about five minutes drive (twenty on foot) from Arrifana beach in the Costa Vicentina natural park, and six kilometres from Aljezur itself. The lodge has four private guest rooms, one shared room and a large bunk room sleeping up to six, plus a plunge pool, yoga terrace, hammocks and bikes for guests to use.
Packages are all-inclusive: surf coaching grouped by ability, meals, transport to the beach and equipment are bundled in so guests know the full cost upfront. Alongside the standard surf weeks, the lodge runs combined surf and yoga packages and surf and Brazilian jiu-jitsu camps.
Arrifana itself sees more than 200 rideable days a year, sheltered by its headland from the heavier swells further down the Costa Vicentina.
