A northern surfboard factory near Ovar, running since 2010. Own brand Xtreme Surfdesign, plus licensed production for Local Motion, Jim Banks, Country Surfboards and others.
Surfactory started in Gaia in 2010 and moved to a bigger plant near Ovar in 2020. It is a full CNC-and-hand factory covering surf, kite, wake and SUP boards.
Alongside its own Xtreme Surfdesign brand it builds under licence for Local Motion Hawaii, Jim Banks, Country Surfboards and others, so those boards can be bought made in Portugal. There is a store at Ovar; enquiries through the website.
