Caparica Surf Academy

Caparica Surf Academy is based at Praia da Rainha, at Casa do Sol, on the long sandy coast of the Costa da Caparica just across the river from Lisbon.
Lessons
Group lessons, private lessons, kids' lessons and stand-up paddle lessons, plus surf clinics in the summer holidays and birthday surf parties. Board rental is available, including longboards and bodyboards.
Instructors
All instructors are accredited by the Federação Portuguesa de Surf and the Universidade Lusofona surf coaching course, with Level 1 or Level 2 coach certification. The school shows the Federation, Turismo de Portugal and the Portuguese surf schools association among its affiliations.
Getting there
Costa da Caparica is a short drive or bus ride from central Lisbon across the 25 de Abril bridge, and Praia da Rainha sits close to the town's beachfront. Lessons in Portuguese and English.
