Good Feeling Surf School
A surf school and camp near Sagres, working since 1997 and certified by the Portuguese Surf Federation, teaching year-round on the beaches of the far southwest.
Good Feeling Surf School is based in Raposeira, a village between Vila do Bispo, Sagres and Lagos, and has worked in surfing since 1997. From there it reaches more than 30 beaches: the south coast in about five minutes, the south-west in about ten and the west coast in about fifteen, so there is usually a sheltered option whatever the wind.
Lessons and levels
Single group or private lessons in small groups, for complete beginners to experienced surfers, adults and children, plus private family packs. The school is certified by the Federação Portuguesa de Surf, with qualified instructors, and runs all year.
Surf and stay
Packages of four nights with three surf days or seven nights with five surf days at the school's surf hostel and camp in Raposeira, with breakfast, lessons, equipment and beach transfers included; lunch boxes and dinners are optional.

Stand-up paddle, coasteering and hiking in the Costa Vicentina natural park.

A cliff-ringed beach between Sagres and Cabo de São Vicente, reached by a long stairway. More exposed and more powerful than Tonel, with a fast, hollow wave for confident surfers.

The south-facing town beach at Sagres, tucked out of the west wind and swell. Gentle and forgiving, the main learner wave in Sagres and the go-to when the west coast is too big or too windy.

Martinhal
A sheltered bay just east of Sagres where the summer north wind blows offshore across flat water: one of the few windsurfing spots in the western Algarve. Hardly ever any surf, and that is the point.
