UpRise Surf School
A surf school and camp based in Peniche, with coaches certified by the Portuguese Surf Federation and physical-education degrees, teaching across the peninsula and up to Baleal and Areia Branca.
UpRise runs from its own surf camp in Peniche and works as a mobile school, taking each lesson to whichever beach on the peninsula, at Baleal or at Areia Branca suits the day. Coaches are certified by the Federacao Portuguesa de Surf and hold degrees in physical education. Lessons in English, Portuguese and German.
